Bank Robber At Large After Targeting Virginia Truist Branch In Loudoun County (Developing)

A masked man is at large after a bank robbery was reported in Loudoun County on Friday afternoon, now police in Leesburg are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating their suspect.

Officers were called at around 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 to Truist Bank in the 1000 block of Edwards Ferry Road NW in Leesburg, where there was a reported robbery.

According to police, members of the Leesburg Police Department were called at 11:42 a.m. on Friday to the bank, as well as the 200 block of Fort Evans Road NE at the Leesburg Outlet Mall to conduct an investigation.

It is unclear if the man made off with any money following the robbery.

No additional details were provided by the agency.

The incident remains under investigation.
